Has anyone got a copy of this show?

Gina Riley and Jane Turner were originally from Channel 7 love. Same with Glenn Robbins and Peter Rowsthorn. They were all from this early 90's comedy sketch show, The Comedy Club or something. I can't remember what its called but i've seen a few episode on the Comedy Channel....they haven't changed.

Peter Helliar is just hilarious! Strauchanie is legendary...i went as a chick version of him to a dress up party once.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen an episode of The Hamish and Andy show, let alone one with Chris. I haven't seen a DVD of it -I don't think one exists coz it was axed so quickly. It's a shame it doesn't seem to be on youtube either. It's disappeared off the radar!!

I remember a few skits vaguely... he played Extreme Darren and Mr G and some dude who was kinnnnda like Phil. He had a banana gag or something from memory.

I can't find anything on line either. It sucks.

I just noticed, on Chris' myspace when you click on "pics" he has three albums full of photos from The Hamish and Andy Show. He's got one as extreme darren, one as Mr G and one for just random sketches. It looks like he's acting as someone from the navy, and there's another one where he's dressed up like someone from the olden days. You should check them out - unless you already have lol. I guess that's the only "footage"/evidence of the show we have.

I think its not gonna be released on DVD because it was canned. It didn't even last a WHOLE series. Big Bite only lasted one series but they showed the complete series on TV and thats why it was released. H&A only got 6 episodes aired.

I reckon they should air it again now. Who cares if its 4 years old? Hamish and Andy are more well known now and fans would tune into see Chris as well.

Maybe we could email channel 7 and ask them Donna?

I don't see why not - although I've never emailed a TV station before. Have you? If everyone writes a separate email then maybe they'll consider it as they'll get more than one? Hmm... what's their email?

Yeah i've emailed before. I asked when PrisonBreak was coming back on TV. Got a reply too!!!

I sent them this:

"I was wondering if its possible if channel 7 can oneday decide to re-run the series "Hamish and Andy" back from 2004?
I understand the series was axed but Hamish and Andy are more well known now and Chris Lilley is also popular too.
Even if its during the 12pm time slot during the day. So many fans would love to see the series again as unfortunately it was never released on DVD.

As a fan of both comedy duo Hamish and Andy and Chris Lilley, I was wondering if Channel 7 would ever consider showing a re-run of the "Hamish and Andy Show" from 2004. It was a great shame that this show was never released on DVD as it was axed after 6 episodes. I was surfing around the TV tonight and stumbled on the first episode of Hamish & Andy!!!! I was rapt to finally see any of Chris' skits from this show. It was on 7HD.

I might have missed a few minutes, but did see an Extreme Darren skit, a Mr G one (which was a classic....so funny), and Chris was in a couple of other skits.

Doesn't look like it will be on again next week though?!?! Why don't Ch 7 just run them all???????
