"The Shack"

Post by Niccicola on Mon Jul 27, 2009 2:16 am

Just read it recently. I have a Book Club tomorrow and we're discussing this one.

I thought it was great for the person like me who doesn't subscribe to a particular religion, but believes in a something.

This sounds like something I would read. Who is the author?

There's also a book called "God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything" by Christopher Hitchens that caught my eye about the same type of thing.

I do believe in a higher power, but organized religion is personally not for me.

it's a great read! I agree, Chrissy. There is *something* out there, but it's too big to fit into one sect of religion. The book centers around the value of Faith. And some other things, but I don't wanna spoil it for ya Very Happy
