I love No More Heroes!
Umm... videogame characters tend to be really cheesy and generic. I haven't seen many which are realistic or at all interesting, probably none that have caused me to really care about their story.
But Luigi makes me laugh. I'd say Mario but he has no personality (and I think purposely so) but Luigi's such a wimp, I love him in Smash Bros.

Johanna Dark from Perfect Dark, Snake from MGS and Link from Zelda, he's my character on Smash Bros. every time!
