Introductions
Hi, thought it would be nice to say 'hello' to one another and say where we're from maybe, it seems we have a mix of Australians and Brits on here which is great.....
I'm from the Midlands, UK...am 34 and have an obsession with watching SHH, in particular Mr G
I'm so glad we have somewhere like this to chat about Chris, nobody else I know have seen any of his stuff and if they have they just don't appreciate it like I do, so was all alone until I found this little place, so thanks Thom for setting it up!

It's my pleasure, sugarpuff.
I'm from Liverpool in the UK. I'm 19, and love Chris' work 100%. It's very rare that I find a comedy show that makes me laugh like this one does.
Well done, Chris!

Re: Introductions
Hey,
My name's Jade and I live in Manchester, UK. I saw SHH purely by accident when there was nothing else on, and was hooked.
It's brill.

I'm from Glastonbury and Bristol (I kinda live in both ... Home and Uni) and saw an advert for Summer Heights High but missed the first few episodes. Caught the rest later and loved it. And now an addict and now We Can Be Hereos as well.

Re: Introductions
Hi all!
I'm 19 years old, living in London and addicted to Summer Heights High and just Chris Lilley's work in general! (this kinda sounds like an alcoholics anonymous meeting lol!). I was introduced to SHH by a couple of friends and managed to catch the 2nd episode on BBC i-player. I then watched the first episode on youtube, followed the whole series through and absolutely loved it! It's very cleverly written and I truly believe Chris Lilley is a multi-talented legend producing such a masterpiece! He has covered so many aspects of real life which people tend to gloss over and has provoked much discussion and debate between viewers of all ages. Surely the work of a comic genius.
I've watched a few clips of Chris Lilley in different shows and I'm also following The Nominees (We Can Be Heroes) as it is currently being shown in the UK. Definitely going to be another brilliant mockumentary and I can't wait to see his next show.

Hi everybody anyway
I love how Lilley's shows strike a chord with so many different groups. Like those of us at school can laugh at how accurate his depictions of school life is while (I obviously can't speak for you) you might know people exactly like Mr. G or Phil Olivetti, etc. I think everyone can enjoy it.

That's right yes...for me, I'm taken back to my school days by watching 'Ja'mie' and 'Jonah', but obviously today it is soooooo different, though I can just imagine it's very close to reality. Mr G and Phil Olivetti, yes I can probably relate certain aspects of their characters to people I've known/know...it's what makes it so hilarious and just goes to show how great Chris is at observing ordinary people and picking out those obscurities and personalities which he then goes on to introduce into his characters.
I really can't wait to see what Chris comes up with next and wonder who we'll be quoting in the future!

Yeah, I just think Chris Lilley is amazingly talented when it comes to creating and developing characters and making them seem so believable! I love the fact that people get different things out of watching his shows. His programmes can provoke discussion and debate ranging from deep issues such as whether pupils like Jonah are neglected in the state school system to light hearted discussion and singing along to Mr. G's Naughty Girl
I can't wait to see what Chris comes up with next. He has got quite a big act to follow! Alot of people want a second series of Summer Heights High and although I absolutely love the characters in the show, I'm sure whatever he comes up with next even if it is a completely fresh concept will be just as good if not better! He does like bringing back old characters in some form so I look forward to that but it will also be brilliant to see a brand new character and watch how they develop.

Re: Introductions
Hello everyone.
Dear "SugarPuff", it seems I may be the oldest one here now. How old? Well, I'm aged somewhere between Mr G and Pat Mullins. I live in South Australia (home of the infamous Dunt), and only really discovered Mr Lilley when he performed as Mr G at the Logie awards this year - mesmerising - became an instant fan, hook line and sinker! I love the way his brain works; the fact that he is uniquely multi-talented; that he puts so much time, effort and attention to detail into his shows to get them just right; and he's a bit of an "enigma" too. He really is in a class of his own. My favourite character is definitely Mr G, and all his other characters are a close second - just can't choose! Like all of us on here, can't wait for his next treat for us all. I'm sure he'll keep us guessing for years to come ............

Re: Introductions
Hi there all!
I am from Melbourne, Australia and think Chris Lilley is one of the funniest people to walk the planet! He is a bloody legend in everything he does... I have just bought the 3 disc version of Summer Heights High and have been laughing my pants off at all the deleted scenes and extras. I just can't seem to get enough of all three characters, but Mr G would have to be my fav!
Great sites guys and glad to join!
