Vampire Diaries is being advertised out here also.
There's another one they showed here, but it got axed and I think they ran out of episodes, called Moonlight, which I haven't watched.
Apparently True Blood is the highest rating HBO show since The Sopranos.
Aren't HBO just awesome!!!?!! Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, True Blood, Oz, The Wire, The Sopranos. Everything they make is gold (I haven't seen the last 3 I mentioned much, but I've heard only great things). And of course airing SHH and co-producing Angry Boys.

Agreed in regards to HBO. It houses some great material!

Post Script: Today, as I was flipping through the channels, I saw the trailer of an upcoming film titled, "The Vampire's Assistant". Oh dear..

^ The Vampire's Assistant is based on a book series called 'Cirque Du Freak' which I read in high school (12 books). It's actually a really great series but the movie adaption is coming out at a horrible time considering everyone is now tired of vampires thanks to a certain crap series...

But yeah, the movie may be a flop but the books were good........

anyone else watch these? I LOVE them except the Cleveland Show. It's new and should be canceled soon in my opinion.

But Simpsons, Fam Guy and American Dad never let me down! Hilarious shit.

I'm trying to get into Family Guy but can't quite get there. I'm sent to the corner of the room when it's on for not laughing. I'm obsessed with South Park, though. I have to watch one at night.

Then again, I can't get my older son into SHH, and he can't get me into How Not To Live Your Life - a fairly new comedy that's doing well in Britain. I think it should be Chris taking that prime time slot!!

Ah, is it? I haven't read the books so I can't judge the content of the series. I'm just over the vampire craze. I didn't mind it when there was a film (or book) here and there in regards to vampires...but when it has become the spotlight of the entertainment business..that's where I become irritated. Having '"tweens" running around, wanting to become vampires is quite disturbing.

I've been watching John Safran's Race Relations. It recently started on ABC. It is also produced by Laura Waters. He's another comedian with that OMG factor so i sense she likes to work with the 'challenging' people.

I think i might even....you know. As i think you guys might like this. Wink

My cousin was watching it and i walked in and was like "WTF is this?" and she told me. I backed out of the room and went and watched Basketball Diaries....now thats my kinda shit.

"Basketball Diaries" is fantastic. Man, I love that film.

Me too. I love heroin based junkie films. Jim Caroll band are great too. Leo did great in that film, as did Marky Mark.
