Re: what was the last movie you watched
Had (another) bout of insomnia last night and came across a subtitled film, Ramchand Pakistani. It was about a man and his little boy crossing the India-Pakistani border putting the pair of them in Indian jail for 5 years, leaving their poor mother/wife behind. It had me in tears near the end when thinking them dead, her son just appears before her 4 years older. Based on a true story. I cried at the end.........blummin' insomnia!!

It definitely looked like it would have been a great concert. I've never gotten to see any of his tours or videos from tours, so I was fascinated by it.

I've seen some concert footage before (through YouTube and such) and he truly does put on a great show. I'm sure it would of been epic live. Friday is pay day, therefore--I hope to see the film.

Re: what was the last movie you watched
I saw the new Star Trek movie on Friday and it was pretty damn awesome!
I've never watched the shows before, and had no interest in it but the movie is really good.

^Star Trek was awesome! I never watched the show either, I've always been a Star Wars geek, so Star trek was just never something I was interested in. But I LOVED that movie!
And I just have to say that I saw Paranormal Activity, and Whitney, you were right, it was so shit. SO BAD!

I'm a "Star Wars" geek as well. I'm not too familiar with "Star Trek"...it's never appealed to me. I have heard (from others who aren't into it as well) that they enjoyed the film..so perhaps I'll give it a chance.
Oh goodness, right Chrissy? it's such a horrible film! it's a pity, really.

Re: what was the last movie you watched
^Oh, yeah...it was baaaaaaaad, bad bad.
I just got back from Disney's A Christmas Carol. It was absolutely gorgeous, see it in 3D if you can!
The acting is fantastic, Jim Carrey is wonderful, as is the incomparable Gary Oldman.
I'm a huge fan of the story, so if you like "A Christmas Carol" in general, you will like it. Although it's worth it just for the animation, IMO.

I adore the story, too. Seen and read so many different versions over the years. I'm actually married to McScrooge!

Gary Oldman is pure awesomeness. I loved him as ^ those characters as well.
Who's enthused for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" by the way? Alan Rickman will be playing the caterpillar.
