Yay! Karona loves Britpop, too! flower Bands like Oasis, Blur, Suede, Pulp, Supergrass, The Divine Comedy. Mid 90's British bands like that are typified as Britpop. I'm sure you'll know the songs when you hear them. Or your parents will, anyhow. I'm just a sad old fart with a reasonably good ear for music. lol! (that's my excuse an' I'm sticking to it!!

A friend of mine told me about that along with NME's quote, which is just hilarious.

My kid came home on Friday saying that another boy (who's 15) sat in the class and cried because he couldn't face that Oasis were never to be again! FFS! I know parents can inflict or influence offspring musically but this stunned me! I mean, none of them had been shot or heavily maimed (sadly - I was never an Oasis fan!) There's sensitive kids out there I know, but I thought a quiet blubber on his own might have done. I'm not sure how the teacher dealt with it, I'll have to ask.

If it have had been my old reg teacher Archie Jack that dealt with me if I'd cried when Blondie split up, I'd have had the shit kicked out of me then sent for 50 laps around the oval with no water breaks in between.
