Need Help!

hey guys,
I've got this idea for a comedy series that i'm gonna try and start writing. i've got one character so far, he won't be the lead but i want to start with the less important characters as i think they're the ones that really 'make' the show eg. Rodney, Sonali, Ja'mie and Jonah's gangs etc.
Anyway, i have this idea for an old,half spanish, ex army veteran who's still pretty much living in World War 2. People call him vain, but he assures them that he is simply proud of his country (the UK)
I think that if I want to develop the character any further, I'm going to need a name LOL.
I've come up with a list and I'd be really grateful if you guys could help me pick a name that suits his character.

Have you started it yet? I like Otto Montgomery. Sounded similar to some names me old WW2 dad used when talking of his compatriots. Great idea what ever name is used! I admire the amount of inspiration and creativity I come across here!

no i haven't started it yet. at the moment i'm in the process of building the characters. i mostly base them on things i encounter or hear, but this character was sort of just made up in my head. i have always had a passion for writing. chris has really inspired me to fulfill my dream, and even if it isn't even made, i'd have so much pride just knowing that i'd written it!
i think the character building part is probably the hardest because they each have to have their own story and background. i hope to have many characters, so this part may take a while lol.

Chris has inspired me to hope to fulfill my dream of being a writer too! I am doing a creative writing course, which I have found very helpful. I have been writing everyday and each day I am inspired to continue.

The character is FINALLY finished!
I've been working on just this one character for 3 months so hopefully it will be pretty good...
I went with Bennie Valdez.
