I'm pretty sure that it differs from state to state, but in Victoria I'm certain it's 16.

EDIT: I'm wrong, it is 18, but under 18 there's the 2 year law. Which makes sense for Jonah, he's a teenager.

No, its 18.

You can be 16 and have sex with someone no older then 2 years, but its illegal to do so with anyone older then that. (From what i know from legal studies).

So in Jonah's case, its illegal for a 17/18 year old to have sex with a 13 year old. (Not saying they don't though i remember my friend in year 7 telling me she lost her virginity to her 17 year old boyfriend...)

I'm sure loads of people do it anyway. But wow 14 yrs for having sex with someone under 16 is a lot :S Unless it was rape or something.
