Its Been Sent!

For my friends and I we've desensitized ourselves to pretty much every insult, as they get bandied around constantly for the hell of it. They've become terms of affection almost.

I hate the word "c*nt". I think its disgusting. Insulting someone after a female body part? Not cool.

I randomly throw little insults at people now and then and vice versa. I'm very sarcastic. So if you're ever called a loser or something by me, consider it a compliment as it means i'm comfortable around you.

Nah, I don't like the c word. It's stupid. But then, t**t has EXACTLY the same meaning. So it's weird how they're not considered the same.

Update on the book. Mark has it. He came to stay last weekend and he's taken it to Cardiff to meet up with some friends. He says he'll try and get some photos of him with it in some Cardiff locations you might recognise, mainly Cardiff Bay area some people might recognise from Torchwood and Doctor Who 'fame'. He's gonna come back on Friday, full annotated with his own stuff and then we'll send it off to the next person this weekend.

He misses you all! And will try to get on the forum soon!

And yes the c -ord is considered to be highly offensive, so it's very normal for UK shows to allow the f-word but bleep out the c-word

Do you mean on regular networks?

Here in the US we hear words like hell, damn, maybe a-hole once in a while, and b*tch on our big three networks which are ABC, CBS and NBC. But you'd never hear f*ck, c-word, t**t or sh*t unless you were watching cable, like HBO or Showtime or something.

You'd hear them on any channel after 9pm.

Though I heard 'shit' at 12.30-ish today on a live programme.

Where is my book? I miss it.

Shit pretty much became a primetime word in Australia during the 80's when our Prime Minister of the time, Bob Hawke (best Prime Minister ever! He has the world record for skolling a yard glass of beer), used it during a live interview on the 6o'clock news. They say it on breakfast radio all the time.
Our media is fairly loosey goosey.
