^Aww. Well i wont be seeing my dad for ages now. Im gonna be bawling my eyes out this Thursday i swear..

My mum said the most weirdist thing ever last night on the phone. She was talking to one of her friends who told her her 25yo daughter was seeing a 40yo guy and my mum was like "that doesnt matter, as long as he treats her right and has a decent job, the age shouldn't matter." I was like "are you on drugs or something? Want me to bring home a 30yo BF and see if you think the same?" and shes like "if he makes you happy hunni i don't care."

Seriously im speechless hahaha.

Yeah, I don't know about that LOL...she might say one thing but if it *really* happened, she might think another.

I know I wouldn't approve of my 18yo daughter dating a 30yo...dirty old man, much??? There's really only one reason why someone that old dates someone that young...and I'd like my daughter to preserve her virginity as long as possible...at LEAST through high school.

a thought i dont even want to think about haha

^It really does depend on the guy though. A girl i used to be friends with (i dont talk to her much these days) is going out with a 36yo. At first i thought he was a freaking creep but i can see he does care about her. I wont go into detail about their relationship as i respect their privacy but they're just like any other couple. But of course mothers hope for that with their daughters....doesn't always happen though. 6 girls from my year level last year have had babies or are currently pregnant, its crazy.

The WCBH books sounds good, might look into it but I've got so much reading to do related to my uni course that I need to read first lol

Haha this thread has taken an interesting turn. Yeah I know my parents wouldn't like me going out with a guy that's way older than I am but I did have a friend who went out with someone in their early 30s when she was 18. And yes I know quite a few girls who are my age (19) or about a year younger and had babies. Even one girl who was in my year, was a first year medical student, amongst the smartest in the year at school had a baby recently- just shows that it's not always the stereotypical kind of girl who has a teenage pregnancy. All I know that I am definitely not ready for that kind of responsibility as I am not in a close relationship with anyone and I've got loads of things on my mind when it comes to education and career progression. I absolutely love kids though Very Happy

^Hahaha i know i have a habit of going off topic my bad.

I do find older guys wayyy more mature then guys my age. So thats another thing to consider. But really in all honesty, you cant help who you fall for. :/

Yeah well you like to plan these things. Like i wanna be married for at least a year and have a decent job along with my husband before we consider having kids...but accidents do happen hahaha.

I see so much of some of the characters in me. Sometimes I say jokes when nobody laughs but I think nobody's heard me so I repeat it and think "God... that's exactly what Phil does." Me and my dad have a lot of Phil's traits. And my sister is so much like Ja'mie. Although she'd kill me if she knew I said that.

^"i see you bought the weather with you".....*cricketnoises*....

Any girl who says they've never called another girl ugly or fat are lying. Though i've grown past that bitchy stage of judging people i used to do it when i was like 14-15. So what Ja'mie says and does is completely normal....she just takes it a little too far though sometimes.

I can't help but think its kind of a wake up call to girls everywhere that if a 34 year old guy can pick up and mock the stupid shit we say...we must look sooo ridiculous to them. My friend mentioned that the other night when i was over at her house having a coffee and her younger sister was watching SHH. She said "Vi, do you think Chris and men in general see us like that?" and im like "i guess with some of us. Its pretty sad huh?"

He makes fun of that type of girl as much as he does 'that type of boy' with Jonah. And Ja'mie and her friends... they deserve to have the rip taken out of them.

I don't think I have a big penis.

I don't have a big penis.

ACTUALLY, this is a bit of an odd thing to be discussing on a Chris Lilley Fan Forum so I think we'll move swiftly on.
